This is where the village of Goldisthal – which got its name because of the deposits of gold and precious metals- is located. The village is located on the Wurzelberg, the highest elevation of the Thuringian Slate Mountains. This film portrays nature and the use of the landscape by humans. In addition to the mighty "Königstanne", there is much to discover in the forests of the Wurzelberg.
