Where can almost untouched nature still be found today?
Description
Not only in remote mountain valleys. Not only in strictly guarded protected areas or behind the borders of national parks. They still exist: small natural realms somewhere in the countryside; unprotected by law and overlooked by mankind. Next to one of Germany´s largest rivers, such a small paradise can be found. Everywhere it splashes and drips, branches and foliage are covered with lime tuff. The landscape is packed in moss and lichen. You almost think you can see fairies, dwarves and forest spirits – or at least hear them.
The film depicts nature´s "everyday life" in the fairytale forest and shows in atmospheric pictures the course of the seasons at a small creek.
